Albums
Toto's discography consists of 13 studio albums and 4 live albums. There are also a few compilations. In addition to the release of original music, Toto has also done collaborations with other artists and on soundtracks for films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards.
Before the formation of Toto, band members did session work for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in the year 1976 as a result of the collaboration.
